Illustrated stories by H Mikel Feilen
For decades I have been drawing a style of art unique in the cartoon world. I call it Brain Disorder art due to the fact that I have epilepsy.
Some of my cartoons are about the trials and tribulations that accompanies this dreadful disease, epilepsy. My other abstract drawings are simply the weirdness floating inside my head.
All drawings are by the author.
Friendship

That which makes a friendship a treasure is the ability to tell each other almost anything. We usually nod our heads, agree with a word or two, and wait patiently for our turn to speak.
Road to Recovery

Recovering from a grand mal seizure is tough. Your tongue is chewed up, your body is scraped and bruised, and the concussion you gave yourself leaves your head pounding.
This is true with all of life’s recovery challenges.
Reinventing Myself

Now that I can’t be what I was, what the hell can I be now? This is a very common question we all ask ourselves at some point and time.
Then the greatest achievement you will ever attempt will begin. You will try to take a square peg and fit into a round hole; you’ll try to be someone new.
You are about to reinvent yourself.
God bless and good luck!
Riding the Canna-bus

When marijuana was recommended to me for the recovery from seizures, I thought I would give it a try. No one told me that the really good stuff made your body feel like Jello, especially after having a seizure.
The waking up from a seizure takes time and comes in snippets. Then, once you can walk again, which may be an hour wait, you make a bee line for the bedroom.
Then once the initial 20-hour nap is over you’re now ready for your 3-day headache from hell, however, a fat dooby can help ease the agony.
Peace, Love, and Unconditional Happiness!
